Evolva Car Seat With Adjustable Wings
Adaptable car seat with deep adjustable side wings for ultimate comfort for the growing child from 9kgs to 36kgs.
The Evolva 123 Ultra has all the features of the Evolva 123 with the addition of width adjustable side wings, giving extra space for children with a wider physique. This will not become necessary until around the 6 or 7 years, but could make the difference by keeping the child comfortable and therefore remaining in their seat, REMEMBERa seat with a back in place is much safer than one without. Without a back there is no side protection offered, allowing the head and neck to become extremely vulnerable.
5 point harness.
The seat is supplied with a 5 point harness, this is adjustable in height and has a single pull to ensure a correct fit on every journey. The harness is used for children from 9kgs, around 1 year, to 18kgs, around 5 years. The unique Britax belt adjustment indicator allows you to see whether you have tightened your childs harness sufficiently - no more guessing!
Booster Seat.
Once the child has reached 15kgs the seat can be used without it's harness, the headrest has a red belt guide to ensure that the adult 3 point seat belt is always in the optimum position over the shoulder.
Fitting the seat. The seat is fitted using a 3 point adult belt.
While using the harness you will need to check the Britax Fit Finder on www.britax.co.uk/FitFinder for compatibility with your vehicle or give us a call on 01962 878885 and we will do it for you; you will need the make, model and year of each vehicle you wish us to check.
The covers of the Ultra are more padded and have a more luxurious feel than the normal Evolva but they are removable for washing. It is rarely possible to fit 3 Evolva car seats across the back of the car so if you do need to accommodate 3 children a Thomson Protectavest may be a solution, the vest is worn over the childs clothes in the centre of the car with a 3 point adult belt, it has clips to secure the adult seat belts in the optimum position across the body, without restricting movement. Just a suggestion!
