Baby Carrier Worn On the Hip
Second stage baby carrier suitable from around 6 months or 7kg through to around 2 years 15kg, allowing parent to carry baby ‘hands free’ on the hip
Once baby is too big or heavy to carry in a front carrier the Curbb carrier allows you to carry baby in the natural position on the hip but without causing you to place your spine in a compromising position. The Carrier will fully support baby offering relief to the arm and shoulder, the weight of baby is distributed through the large hip strap. The Curbb can be used on either hip and it is recommended to alternate hip and take breaks during longer journeys.
Baby Section
The baby seat of the Curbb is a soft breathable fabric made from polyester & cotton. The Curbb is supplied with an additional inner seat for baby from 6 months to around a year, that fits inside the main seat section. This inner seat reduces the size of the carrier to keep baby safe and secure, the Curbb also gives the opportunity to reduce the leg opening ensuring baby cannot slip though.
The baby seat is shaped to come up the back of baby allowing the parent to be hands free. Baby must always be placed in the carrier facing the parent tummy to parents hip. Once baby is over a year old the inner seat is removed giving baby more space allowing the carrier to be used for a further year.
Parent Harness
The parent section is easily adjustable between parents with the waist strap fitting snugly around the body with a velcro fitting secured with a clasp to keep it in place, although after long outings it may be necessary to readjust the tension.
The shoulder support strap is well padded and has an anti slip fabric, allowing it to remain in a comfortable position. It is important to ensure that there are no twists when doing up the clasps.
