The advantages of a crib over a Moses basket is simply that it will last a little longer, possibly up to 6 months, cribs are available with a gliding, swinging or rocking motion that is enjoyed by babies.
Mobile Cribs
The Natures Nest crib has the added advantage of helping babies with digestive disorders. A crib is not as mobile as a Moses basket but does have advantages over a cot. The crib can easily fit through doorways, so could be moved into another room, maybe after baby has fallen asleep.
