The advantages of a crib over a Moses basket is simply that it will last a little longer, possibly up to 6 months, cribs are available with a gliding, swinging or rocking motion that is enjoyed by babies.
Mobile Cribs
The Natures Nest crib has the added advantage of helping babies with digestive disorders. A crib is not as mobile as a Moses basket but does have advantages over a cot. The crib can easily fit through doorways, so could be moved into another room, maybe after baby has fallen asleep. Cribs are usually purchased separately from their bedding so allowing you to choose the dressings to your taste.
