Cot Bedding
The cot bedding you need for baby will keep baby warm without any risk of overheating, it is always advised to have available many light layers, rather than one heavy layer, making it possible to add or take away layers a little at a time as the temperature changes. We would recommend a sheet with light cotton cellular blankets - the number dependant on room temperature.
Control Baby's Temperature
Another way of controlling temperature is to use a baby sleeping bag, these come in a range of tog ratings which correspond to the time of year or temperature of the nursery. Sleeping bags are designed to be used soon after birth through to around 4 years. Snuggle Sacs are another product available, these are designed to be used in a single bed rather than a cot and keep bedding in place - for children up to around 6 years.
