From the Baby Jogger Company the City Series has been produced to help parents cope with baby, toddler/child outings into town, with quick easy one-handed folding perfect for hopping on to public transport. The City is capable of having a carrycot added for the newborn's comfort, allowing baby to travel facing the parent while lying in a completely reclined position on a comfortable mattress. The buggy is able to carry a child up to 75lbs, (around 6 years), so if trips into town are a struggle for the youngster this could be the answer. If your child requires a buggy beyond 75lbs, within the Baby Jogger collection is a buggy that will take a child up to 200lbs.
City Features
The front wheel can be left in a swivel mode when on hard surfaces and in town, but if you wish to go over rough terrain or the beach the locked position will keep the wheel in a forward direction making pushing much easier. The handle is adjustable enabling you to choose the most comfortable position; this can be different for walking on different surfaces. The sun canopy is deep, giving good protection during the summer months. The stylish back wheels have been fitted with a quick release mechanism, making the fold even more compact.
Baby will find the seat has been padded to ensure a good level of comfort even when out on longer walks, with a 5 point harness to ensure safety at all times. The seat can be reclined for baby or toddler to take a nap, although care will be needed during sunny days, as the canopy does not cover the reclined seat.
A storage pocket has been placed on the back of the seat to ensure your phone and purse are kept safe, a storage basket can be found below the seat, for those baby essentials.
The optional Carrycot will give the newborn baby all the comfort of a traditional pram.
An adaptor is available for the attachment of the CabrioFix car seat from Maxi Cosi to form a travel sytem.
