City Compact 3 Wheel Buggy
The new ‘baby’ from the Baby Jogger Company is the City Mini Stroller which can be purchased as a single or double pushchair. The single City Mini buggy has a total weight of just 16.8lb, with the unique compact fold of its big brothers can be managed one handed making it perfect for public transport. The fully assembled size is 29.5 x 24 x 42” folding to just 30.5 x 24 x 9”.
Seat Unit
The City Mini can be reclined to an almost flat position making it suitable for use from birth, when reclined a ventilation & weather cover are easily secured into position. The seat is well padded for the child’s comfort with the chassis frame completely enclosed. The five point harness is height adjustable for the older child and has plenty of size adjustment secreted within the padded shoulder pads and buckle cover. The seat unit is suspended from the main frame of the buggy making the ‘ride’ comfortable even while travelling over rougher terrain.
Hood
The large hood has three positions to offer the best possible protection from the weather; the hinge has been specially designed to have a ‘no pinch’ mechanism. A clear window to the top will ensure that you and baby stay in touch.
Storage Basket
A good sized basket is suspended below the buggy and to the rear of the seat a pocket has been added perfect for your purse and mobile phone keeping the close at hand.
Wheels
The lightweight wheels will not need you to carry a puncture repair kit as they are made from a moulded polymer composite, suspension has been added all round to ensure the ride for the child is not compromised. Each of the 8” wheels has been fitted with a quick release mechanism making it easy to further reduce the size when travelling. The sealed wheel bearings will ensure you can push the City Mini with little effort, when parking the central mounted brake can be easily applied.
Folding
The fold of the City Mini is very simple and makes this buggy perfect for use by Grandparents - two poppers are released from the main frame behind the seat then the large handle clearly marked FOLD is lifted the buggy instantly folds to its compact size of 30.5 x 24 x 9”, this size can be reduced further if necessary with the easy removal of the wheels.
