The range of car accessories seems endless, some are essential - like grip mats used to aid secure fitting of your infant carrier, others just make life more comfortable and easier.

Strap Covers & Shock Absorbers

Strap covers are available for the infant carriers; some have teethers and toys attached, entertaining baby while reducing the impact of the harness on baby's body.

A shock absorber is available made by Recaro to use with booster seats or for older, taller children who are no longer using a booster seat, it will absorb the impact of the car seat belt helping to protect your child's body and internal organs.

Seasonal Travel

Sun blinds are available to fit all the rear windows of the car. To fit the Maxi Cosi car seats, and made from terry towelling, these protect the car seat from the effects of the sun and are easy to wash without needing to remove the car seat harness.

Footmuffs are especially useful if you are using the infant carrier as part of a travel system during the winter; the footmuff will help keep baby warm while out walking, but do be aware of overheating if you have air conditioning in your vehicle.

Seat Accessories

These are used to help the fit of the child car seats to your vehicle, especially necessary when you have leather upholstery.

Car seat levellers make the fitting of an infant carrier easier. The Sit Rite Leveller is not needed in all cars, but if you have deep bucket style seats you will see the advantage.
