Carrycot For All Jane Chassis
This is a good-sized carrycot with the added bonus that it can be used while travelling by car, baby lies flat in the Capazo across the rear car seat and will require 2 seats and belts.
When travelling on longer car journeys it is better for baby to be lying as flat as possible - this has many advantages to baby – helping food to travel through baby’s small tubes without causing pain, also baby's head is able to turn freely on the soft mattress therefore reducing the chances of becoming flattened and alowing better breathing because the diaphram is not being compressed.All of these advantages allow you to travel a longer distance between stops compared with a normal infant car seat.
Carrycot
The Capazo Pro is fitted with a comfortable mattress and ventilated base that can be easily adjusted according to the weather conditions. The large hood will protect baby from wind and sun and has been fitted with a musical box to provide your baby with relaxing melodies and pleasant sounds. The rear section of the hood can be opened to allow air flow during the hotter months and an insect net with viewing window will protect from flying insects. The reversible apron can be placed on to the Capazo either with a contrast colour or plain colour upwards to give a different look to your pram, when required the apron can be rolled back giving easy access to baby and allowing good air circulation when indoors. The fabric that comes into contact with baby this season is 100% cotton to help keep baby’s skin protected. A clear name tag on the carrycot will ensure that mix-ups do not happen at nursery. If you wish baby to sleep over night in the Capazo Pro you will need to add a ventilated carrycot mattress.
Fitting in the car
The Auto Carrycot is fitted across the rear seats of the car, ideally it will be in the middle using the 2 outside seat belts, but if you need to carry a passenger or sibling baby can be moved to one side, this should be with the baby’s head towards the centre of the car. It can be fitted with a 3-point seat belt and a central lap belt. The Auto carrycot is a simple click fit and meets the same standards of safety as an infant carrier car seat. The baby is secured to the cot by the 3 point safety harness with single pull adjustment for a snug fit on every journey.
Safety
The Auto Carrycot is in the Group 0 suitable from birth to 9kgs around 9 months of age.
The cot is made from a highly resistant polypropylene injected plastic body shell, which provides a great level of energy absorption during an impact. The inside is lined around the head area and across the whole base with energy absorbing polystyrene. The base has a ventilation system to allow
Air to flow around keeping cool and comfortable.
Travel System
The Auto Carrycot Pro will fit onto any of the Jane single chassis and the twin Two forming a traditional pram and as part of a travel system.
To fit the Capazo onto the Jane chassis it is simply lowered into position and it will automatically clip into the chassis, for removal the button on the carry handle is depressed and the carrycot is lifted, this simple and effective system allows the cot to be fitted and removed with just one hand.
