Cabriofix Car Seat
The Cabriofix baby car seat from Maxi Cosi can be used with many brands including the Bugga Boo, Icandy apple, pear and cherry, the Quinny Buzz, Maxi Cosi Mura Phil & Teds transforming them into a comfortable travel system.
The new colours of the Cabriofix for the 2008 season include lush fabrics that are soft and gentle against baby’s delicate skin. The colours are bright and bold allowing them to compliment the new season’s pram and pushchair collections.
Each Cabriofix is fitted with a harness that can easily be adjusted for every journey with a simple one-pull tensioner, a sunshield and an adjustable seating position ensuring the tiny baby will be cradled in as flat a position as possible for the first months. The head hugger will help to keep the head in an upright position, while the deep sides will offer the best possible protection during a side impact.
The Cabriofix can be fitted easily in the car using the adult 3 point seat belt or by placing it into one of the bases that are available as an option. The Easybase from Maxi Cosi is fitted into the car with the seat belts then the Cabriofix is dropped into position without the need to place the seat belts around the seat. The other option is the EasyFix base this attaches to the car via Isofix points, making a direct link between the base and the chassis of the car, the Cabriofix is then simply lowered into position without the need of any seat belts.
Please note that the Cabriofix is always fitted in the vehicle rearward facing.
Cabriofix Raincover
The clear PVC cover will protect baby and the Cabrio or CabrioFix car seat from the wind and rain; this is particularly useful when using the car seat as part of a travel system. The cover has been shaped to fit over the seat with the handle in the up-right position with a special flap to allow you to carry the seat with the cover in place. It is important to remove the cover while travelling in the car or while inside as baby could quickly become overheated. The CabrioFix rain cover is fully elasicated for quick and easy fitting and removal.
Playchain
Fun Maxi Cosi baby car seat playchain features rattling characters, rings and a mirror to help your child enable their recognition senses, it is in the primary colours that can be seen in the early stages of life therefore your child can enjoy the playchain’s colours even before their eyes are fully developed. The chain is attached on to the car seat by Velcro tabs around the handle; this meaning that baby can play when in the car on a road trip or when in the car seat on their travel system keeping them entertained while you wander.
Summer Cover
The towelling cover will protect the main cover of the CabrioFix car seat from soiling. It can quickly and easily be removed for washing unlike the actual car seat cover, should you have a baby that is ‘sicky’ the summer cover is a good investment as the car seat can not be used without the main cover and they do take a long time to dry due to the padding.
The cover also is designed to protect the car seat from fading in the sun during the summer months.
Made from cotton terry towelling it is fully machine washable and tumble dry.
