2008 Quinny Buzz 3
Lightweight 3 wheel chassis with reversible seat unit, with the ability to accept the Cabriofix car seat or the Dreami carrycot to form a compact travel system.
The Quinny Buzz 2008 is supplied with two seat units, the standard seat unit and a second larger replacement seat for use when the baby outgrows the first one, at around 12 months. This extends the use of the pushchair through to around 3 years.
Buzz 3 Chassis
The lightweight Buzz chassis looks stunning and has a number of unique features including a single gas filled main support strut. The fold is easy and compact, with an automatic unfolding action – just touch the handle with your toe and it will be instantly ready for the seat unit (the optional car seat or Dreami carrycot) to be placed onto the chassis.
The handle is height adjustable with a simple click making it suitable for everyone especially as there is no bar linking the back wheels to be kicked when striding out.
The back wheels are air filled to ensure a comfortable ride for baby while the small front wheels will make manoeuvering the buggy a breeze. The small front wheels are set together on the Buzz 3 - these will swivel but can be locked easily when travelling over rough terrain. The parking brake is easy to use even while wearing light shoes with a single one-press lock and release button.
Seat Units
The Buzz 3 seat units are a soft molded material making it both comfortable and gentle on baby’s skin. The Buzz seat is able to be placed on the chassis either facing the parent or facing forwards once the baby wishes to see where they are going.
When baby needs a nap the seat can be reclined to a comfortable position with the child’s feet being raised to ensure a comfortable sleep. The Buzz will fold with the seat in place, with just one hand making it possible to hold baby and fold the buggy. A full five point harness will keep baby and toddler safe and sound for every journey, shoulder pads will ensure comfort. The front bumper bar is removable for when the toddler wishes to get in and out of the buggy independently.
Hood
The hood supplied with the Buzz will protect baby from the sun, rain or wind, but remains light and airy with the quarter-light windows.
Buzz Box
The Buzz box attaches to the chassis to add storage, but can be simply lifted off. It is the perfect place to store the raincover and other baby essentials.
Raincover
The throw-over raincover goes over the whole buggy to protect baby and the Buzz fabrics from the rain. It can also be used to protect baby from the wind. (It is important to always fold it back when going inside as baby could overheat.)
Optional Extras:
Dreami Carrycot
It is possible to transform the Buzz 3 into a stylish pram with the addition of the Dreami carrycot which allows baby to travel in a completely flat position on a comfortable mattress. The Dreami is easily placed onto the Buzz chassis without the need for any adaptors.
Cabriofix Car Seat
To turn the Buzz into a travel system all that is required is to purchase the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix infant car seat; this will clip easily into the adaptors supplied for an instant convenient travel system.
The Cabriofix car seat can be fitted into the car using the adult 3 point seat belt or by adding a base for a simple one click fit.
Footmuff
The footmuff will fit into the seat unit secured in place with the seat 5 point harness; a pair of zips running down the sides will ensure the baby can be kept at the optimum temperature and a draw string will keep little ears warm.
Shopping Basket
To increase the carrying capacity a shopping basket cab fitted below the buggy, this is easy to fit with popper fastenings.
Parasol
To protect baby from the sun a black parasol is available with a special clip designed for the shape of the Buzz chassis.
