The units clip snugly together, so they can be put in the freezer as a batch. Because they fit together firmly, there are no gaps for food to fall down in-between when filling straight from the pan. An individual storage pot can be unclipped and removed from the freezer when baby is hungry.
The frozen puree is easy to remove from the pot. Just open the lid, push the base with your thumb and the cube pops out easily. Alternatively, food can be heated in the microwave and then served to baby straight from the pot.
