The Kid booster seat from Britax will fit most cars or vans as the narrow base will allow it to comfortably slot into even sculptured seats. The seat belt guide is free running making the seat belt quick and responsive wherever the anchorage point is situated. The back fits rigidly to the base this will not allow the child to fall sideways out of the seat when sleeping.
The Kid has excellent side impact protection protecting the neck and head with the large shaped head rest. The head rest also has the seat belt guide fitted ensuring that the adult 3 point seat belt is always in the optimum position across the child’s body.
As the child grows the headrest is adjusted easily upwards, this is designed to protect the child until around 5’ in height. Should you wish the bottom section can be removed to leave the child with a booster cushion, although this will reduce the protection during any side impact.
The Kid is fitted with arm rests these will offer a more comfortable seating position as well as ensuring the seat belt is maintained low across the child’s tummy protecting vital organs.
A pull-out wedge is fitted to allow the Kid booster seat to be placed in a reclined position for longer journeys, allowing a restful comfortable sleeping position.
