Booster Seats
Dining chair booster seats are designed for two different situations one for every day use in the home and the other for travelling. Booster seats allow you to sit your child at a table, at the correct height for them, without the need for a separate high chair, allowing you to enjoy family meals together at home or in restaurants.
Boosters for Home Use
These are generally more bulky but give a more stable and comfortable position for which to regularly eat. They secure to the chair using straps around the base and back of a dining chair, they give a choice of height and may have a tray allowing you to use the chair as a 'highchair' away from the dining table, maybe in the kitchen.
Transportable Booster Seats
These will fold far more compactly, some have inflatable cushions or simply hook over the chair back, the seat will be useful until your toddler is around 3 years. An alternative is a dining chair harness which is a simple fabric harness that can easily be carried in your changing bag and will give you the chance to safely secure your child to any standard chair almost anywhere.
