Bibs & Muslin Squares

Your very first baby bib will, undoubtedly be a muslin square. These soft cloths tuck under babies chin during feeding, absorbing any excess milk. They can then be placed over your shoulder to protect your clothes during winding.

Bibs & Pelican Bibs

When choosing bibs it is better to be practical, white and pastel shades may be the first choice, but they will be washed and dried constantly, so darker colours will be more forgiving in the long term. Banana, a favourite with babies does not come out of your bibs or clothing but remains as brown marks - so beware!

Soft small bibs are ideal to protect your babies clothes whilst they are being bottle fed whilst larger pelican bibs, with a 'catch bowl' will provide more defence against dropped food when you child moves on to solids.

Dribblers & Sleeved Bibs

When baby is teething they can not help dribbling. This can be so excessive that the skin of their chin and neck becomes sore - fleece bibs are ideal at this time as they stay dry.

Sleeved bibs can save a large amount of washing when baby decides its time to feed themselves. Look for bibs with a fabric or rubber crumb tray as these can save your carpet.
