Bath Toys
The first bath toys will be the sponge and face flannel, but baby will soon be ready to start on their first science lessons. Water is intriguing, and once you introduce floating ducks and sinkable boats the whole string of questions of 'why?' will begin.
Bath toys tend to span more age groups than regular toys, so when buying toys for the bath - look for the simple children's toys. For example - sponge letters, these will float and move for the young baby, but as your child gets older they will be able to make names and simple sentences.
Toys that suck and squirt water are always a winner with children but mum and dad may not find them so much fun!
Bath Toy Bags
A bath toy bag will become an essential, as the ever-increasing number of toys will need to drain and dry to stay clean and healthy. These bags will generally be supplied with suckers to hang either above or on the side of the bath.
It is a good idea to make putting the toys back in the bag all part of the bath time fun!
