Soothing and fun bouncing chair, in sleek design
The latest addition to the Baby Bjorn range, this lovely rocking baby chair is based on the classic and well loved design,the Babysitter 123, but it has been developed further with a number of improvements in close collaboration with medical experts, parents, and children. Like all the Baby Bjorn products, the chair is stylish, smart and sleek.
This chair is a must for any baby… simple to use, and so effective. Babies love these chairs and will rock happily up and down in them for ages. Babies find the rocking motion soothing and reassuring. They will be comfortable and snug, kept securely in position with the safety harness.
No batteries are needed. Your child’s own movement, even very gentle kicking with the legs, will create a natural rocking motion in the chair. This movement helps the development of your child’s motor skills and balance.
The chair is suitable for babies from newborn to 2 years (3.5 kg to 13 kg)
Ergonomic design – The design of the chair provides the correct support for your child’s back and head. The seat moulds to baby’s body. There is a mechanism that allows the height to be adjusted easily and quietly into one of three positions. Play, rest and sleep. (Please note - maximum weights for each position vary – play max 13 kg, rest max 10 kg, sleep max 7 kg.)
Converts into chair – the Babysitter Balance converts into a comfortable chair for a child when they are old enough to sit down safely on their own. The safety harness can then be removed.
Fabric – The fabric is cotton and polyester. Very comfortable, durable and washable. The crotch safety strap and the main body of the chair are both reversible, allowing the chair to be used in four different colour coordinations. All the fabrics used on the chair are harmless to small children’s sensitive skin, even if baby tries chewing it.
Colours - The chair is available from Olivers Babycare in two colourways, black/red and black/silver. The designs incorporate the characteristic Baby Bjorn parallel stripes.
Dimensions – floor measurements 39 cm x 79 cm. There are anti-glide strips on the metal frame of the chair, to protect your floor. The chair is easy to fold up, and compact enough to take with you on trips out.
Also available from Olivers Babycare is the Babysitter Wooden Toy bar, which fits across the front of the Babysitter, so your baby can play while in the chair.
