Baby Sense by Megan Faure and Ann Richardson
First published in 2002, this book, Baby Sense, has become an international best seller with its advice on how to produce a contented baby. It is written by occupational therapist, Megan Faure and specialist nursing sister Ann Richardson.
Well written, clearly laid out and easy to understand, the book addresses three of the most common concerns of parents in the first year: Why is my baby crying? How can I get my baby to sleep well? How can I enhance my baby’s development?
The book explores how a parent can understand their baby’s sensory world in order to have a baby who is happy when awake, able to learn from his world, falls asleep with ease and sleeps peacefully for long stretches at a time.
Topics covered including diet, play, sleeping habits and colic. The book covers the first nine months of baby’s life.
An invaluable book which will help new parents enjoy and understand the new arrival in their family.
