One of the many distinctive and well designed products from the stylish Swedish manufacturer Baby Bjorn. The Synergy baby carrier looks great as well as being practical and simple to use. It combines maximum comfort for baby and adult.
The Synergy has a full back supporting harness as found on the Baby Bjorn Active carrier. The baby section can be fully removed allowing baby to be lifted from the carrier without being disturbed.
Baby Section
Baby can be placed in the Synergy carrier from newborn or over 8lbs in weight and is carried facing the parent for the first months. The head support is raised and adjusted to offer baby total comfort for those first weeks. The length of the carrier is adjusted as baby grows with baby sinking deeper into the carrier; this is clearly marked on the inside of the carrier and very easy to adjust. Once baby is able to support his or her own head baby may wish to see where you are both heading so baby can at this time be placed in the Synergy Carrier facing outwards. The head support is turned down to offer good visibility and is suitable up to 26lbs in weight around 18 months of age.
The mesh that forms the baby section of the Synergy comes in three different types the one running down the back offers good comfortable support to the baby’s back , while the sides are formed from a lightweight mesh, around the contact points with baby is a soft mesh so as not to cause any discomfort.
The front section is fully removable from the parent harness making it very easy to place baby undisturbed into cot or car seat, with all attachments found to the front so one person can manage very easily.
Adult Harness
The adult section of the Synergy can be put on just like a jacket then can be tightened and adjusted for total comfort. The support to the lower back will prevent any neck or shoulder ache associated with many baby carriers where all the weight is taken on the shoulders. When you have that part adjusted and comfortable the front section can be added, the easiest way is to do up one side then add baby then do up the second side. When removing baby again just undoing one side will make it possible to slide baby out, but if baby is asleep then the whole front section can easily be removed.
