Bebe Confort group 1 forward facing car seat suitable from 9kg to 18kg; this is around 12 months until 3 to 4 years. The Axiss is fitted easily with the adult 3 point seat belt, with the routings especially clear to insure a correct fit with an auto lock tensioning system.
The child will be gently cocooned in the Axiss with comfortable head support cushion included and excellent side impact protection.
The child’s 5 point harness can be adjusted to an exact fit for every journey with the one-pull tensioning strap, the shoulder pads will ensure comfort and protection should an impact occur. When the harness is released a pair of elasticated straps will keep the harness out of the way ready for the next trip, with the Axiss rotating towards the open door nothing could be easier. The headrest height and harness adjustment is easy and can be achieved in one simple operation as the child grows.
The seat is fitted with a unique system that is set to allow the turning of the Axiss 90 degrees towards the open door, eliminating the need to lift the child over the side of the seat, ideal for heavier children and adults with back problems. The direction is chosen before the seat is fitted into the car; it is then not possible to turn the Axiss to face the centre of the car - this could be a danger if a sibling released the seat during a journey. A clear green indicator will give instant reassurance that the seat has clicked into the mechanism ready for the journey.
For added comfort during long or even some short journeys the Axiss has 8 recline positions, these positions can be adjusted with a single hand if necessary.
