3 Wheeler Pushchairs
The first 3 wheel pushchairs that arrived in the U.K. were designed with the jogger in mind with large fixed wheels, rarely folding very small and having a fixed seat position.
Things have moved on through a series of changes to the point that we now need to have 2 departments in the three wheel section, those designed to be all terrain and functional, the other ‘fashion’ buggies, these are stunning designs and are extremely manoeuvrable in town but might not like the sight of a rough forest path.
Travel System
There are 3 wheelers that can also be classified as travel systems, as carrycots/car cots and car seats are available to co-ordinate with many of the 3 wheel buggies now available.
Jogging Buggy
These can still be found - you will find that they are more basic and light weight, they have larger wheels with a fixed front wheel, so may not be suitable for use from birth, but from when your baby is around 6 months - giving you an opportunity to get back to full fitness and shape before embarking on more serious running.
